The Fisher Residence is a purposeful interpretation of low profile, horizontal massing and cascading roof forms. The homes’ cascading roof was designed as a tribute to the nearby La Plata mountain range and its long horizontal building masses as a tribute to the equally accessible horizontal vistas and mesas of the four corners region of Durango, Colorado. Attention to proportion, scale and architectural detail both exterior and interior enhance the ‘timeless’ quality of this design.
